Meet Alissa Roston

Alissa Roston has been at the heart of Beverly Hills for over 40 years.

Her dedication to the community is evident through her various roles as an elected School Board member and President, City Commissioner and Chair, Rotary Club member and Past President as well as a member of various City and school committees. Alissa's commitment to giving back is unwavering, but what truly sets her apart is her authentic and collaborative approach to addressing local issues. Residents trust her because she always provides a straightforward and thoughtful perspective.

Alissa is deeply rooted in Beverly Hills and has been for decades. Together with her late husband, Dr. Warren Roston, she raised a loving family of four children – three boys, and a girl. As a family of six, they were actively involved in sports, volunteering, and the Temple Emanuel community, which continues to be an important part of Alissa's life. As a grandmother, she takes great joy in caring for the next generation of Rostons while continuing to serve the community of Beverly Hills.

Alissa's impact on our community has been profound and her decision to run for City Council is driven by her desire to foster greater transparency, dialogue and collaboration among all residents, business owners and other stakeholders in Beverly Hills. She is committed to making it an even better place to live, work, and raise families for generations to come.

Beyond her local community involvement, Alissa currently serves as a Trustee of Pitzer College and is an esteemed member of the Rotary Club. Her academic background includes studies at both Pitzer College and Johns Hopkins, where she gained expertise in finance, a field in which she excelled until her retirement from the Los Angeles Pulmonary Medical Group.

Alissa is committed to service, collaboration and creating positive change that will benefit Beverly Hills and its residents for years to come.
